We have partnered with a carbon management consultancy - Neutral Carbon Zone to develop a proactive and progressive approach to becoming net zero, where we will be operationally net zero by 2035 and net zero by 2040.
Furthermore and alongside NCZ, we are building a proactive and progressive approach to sustainability and business efficiency; reporting on all critical factors and operational footprint, as well as identifying the main GHG emissions drivers within the business.
We are already Ecovadis Bronze certified and working towards Silver certification by the end of 2024.
Sustainable Partnerships
We take pride in partnering with like-minded subcontractors who share our unwavering commitment to sustainability. Each of our suppliers understands the profound impact their practices can have on our planet and society, and we are collectively working to make a positive difference every step of the way.
Chemical Free Cleaning
Over 80% of our current contracts are delivered chemical-free and we are striving towards the removal of single-use plastics.
Waste Reduction / Recycling Program
We work with a small group of waste management service partners who are passionate about improving recycling rates, eliminating waste to landfill and minimising the carbon emissions associated to our contracts. Our teams actively segregate waste to deliver 100% diversion from landfill and to maximise genuine recycling initiatives.
Recycled Uniforms
Our uniform provider delivers our teams 100% sustainable uniforms. Uniforms are made with over 65% recycled materials and all uniforms are recycled at the end of life. Virgin products are ethically sourced, ensuring the upmost responsibility is applied through the manufacture and disposal or all garments.
Environmentally-Friendly Machinery
We challenge our equipment partners to operate sustainably in the manufacture, delivery and replacement of all equipment. Partners including Karcher and Numatic provide our teams with highly effective machinery, using recycled plastics in their manufacture and utilising parts in new manufacturing cycles at the end of life.
Switching to Hybrid Company Fleet
Since 2020, we have been actively replacing our company fleet with hybrid vehicles. Currently, 60% of our fleet is hybrid, with our stated goal to utilise only hybrid vehicles by the end of 2027.
Furthermore, we actively utilise fleet tracking software to monitor our drivers’ behaviour, with a focus on reducing CO2 emissions through proactive and intelligent route planning.
Embracing ESG means building our business that not only thrives today, but also nurtures the planet and society for tomorrow.
